First liveaboard of the year and we started strong, in the Maldives. One of those trips that reminds you why you keep doing this. Mantas showing up during the day and also at night, relaxed nurse sharks resting on the bottom, and grey reef sharks and white tips crossing the channels on almost every dive. You entered the water knowing that something was going to happen.

Between dives, there was also time to slow things down. We visited two local islands, wandered around without any rush, and one night ended up with a beach barbecue. Sand, laughter, stories told a thousand times, and that group feeling that only comes after sharing many hours underwater.

The week flew by. Too fast. And when a liveaboard feels short, it’s usually because everything went exactly as it should. We now continue on to Fuvahmulah, as some members of the group clearly haven’t had enough with just one week and want more and more. We’ll keep you posted.
