We are back on land after another very special week in the northern Red Sea. This time, we were joined by a wonderful group of friends from Madrid. Most of them had already travelled with us before and, as always, it was a real pleasure to share another adventure with you. Because if there is one thing about these trips, it is that every reunion feels like coming home.

We explored the classic northern route and, once again, the Red Sea surprised us. We had encounters with dolphins, sharks, rays and turtles, reminding us why this route never stops making us fall in love with it.

Of course, we could not miss our visit to the wreck par excellence, the legendary Thistlegorm, where we had the privilege of enjoying up to three dives completely on our own. Being able to explore its holds and decks in such peace is an experience few will forget. One of the most beautiful moments of the week came from a curious dolphin that appeared during one of the night dives, accompanying us and making the dive even more special in a completely unexpected way. After the night dive, we met it again while snorkelling; it seemed like it did not want to leave. It was wonderful that the whole group had the chance to experience something so special.

The arrival of summer also brings with it the new generations of divers, and we had a little adventurer on board who hardly missed a single dive. Her looks of surprise, excitement and enthusiasm constantly remind us why we remain so in love with this profession. While some have already started returning to their routine, others have taken the opportunity to continue discovering Egypt and are enjoying the wonders of the ancient world, exploring the most fascinating corners of Cairo.

But above all, we take with us the atmosphere we shared on board. It has been a week full of laughter, endless conversations and fantastic companionship. Because, as we like to say at NextGen: Of course the boat matters… but the company, the company is everything.
