Fuvahmulah: Diving in the Wild Heart of the Maldives

Fuvahmulah is not just another island on the Maldives map. Located south of the equator and far from the usual tourist routes, this oceanic gem offers a unique diving experience in the world. Its singular topography, rising abruptly from the depths of the ocean without a continental shelf, creates a perfect environment for close encounters with some of the most impressive marine species on the planet.

Why is Fuvahmulah special?

Unlike other Maldivian islands, Fuvahmulah is not part of an atoll and has no inner lagoons. This geographic configuration makes it a meeting point for pelagic species seeking food and cleaning stations on its reefs. In addition, its local and authentic atmosphere offers visitors a culturally enriching experience.
